III. Post-Listening Exercise [Top]
1. Read the audiotranscript with a partner or change some of the information to adapt it to your situation.

2. Write the first part of a recommendation letter for advanced study, which includes an: Introduction and your (or your teacher's) qualification for making such a recommendation. View the accompanying Power Point presentation on details of how to write this paragraph.

3. Write four questions beginning with "What" when recommending someone for advanced study, and then answer them. The question does not have to come directly from the listening exercise.
Example: What progress did Jerry Chang's team gradually make in Professor Chang's class?
Answer: Its preparation and overall quality of work
Example: What contribution did you make to Professor Lin's Accounting Course?
Answer: I often asked questions during class and orally presented my report findings.
