1. Read the audiotranscript with a partner or change some of the information to adapt it to your situation.

2. Write a paragraph describing your extracurricular activities that are relevant to study. View the accompanying Power Point presentation on details of how to write this paragraph.

3. Write four questions beginning with "Which" when asking someone about one's extracurricular activities that are relevant to study, and then answer them. The question does not have to come directly from the listening exercise.
Example: Which advanced degree program in the United States does Sally want to pursue?
Answer: Marketing Management
Example: Which extracurricular activities did you participate in while at university?
Answer: The hiking club and the student government association

4. Ask a person two questions beginning with "Which" about his or her extracurricular activities during university. Write down each question and its one or two sentence reply. You can select from among the following questions from the above listening exercise as models for the questions that you ask: Which extracurricular activities did Sally participate in during university?
Which extracurricular activity did Sally participate in heavily influenced her decision to pursue a career in marketing?
